Adding your personal image/avatar & signature line to your posts

How to add your personal image/avatar to your posts:

Use of user personal or avatar images and uploaded images accompanying topic postings is encouraged.

At the top of our main "Forums" pages, you'll see:
"To post or to add your image/avatar and signature line: Register,  Log In  or Edit your account"

Click Edit (if you're already logged in), Log In (if you're not already logged in) or Register (if you haven't done so already).

When you have logged in, click on the Edit link, then scroll down to "Picture".
Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the personal image or avatar image in your computer that you wish to represent yourself with.

Note that there are some limitations as to which image files are useable:
Allowed image file extensions: png gif jpg jpeg
Maximum dimensions are 85x85 and the maximum file size is 50 kB.
Images must be socially acceptable. Inappropriate images may be deleted at the discretion of the site administrator.

How to add your personal signature lines to your posts:

Follow the directions above, scrolling past the "Picture" section of the Edit page to the "Signature Settings" input field.  Enter your desired posting signature line(s) here.

Personal user signatures are encouraged but should be limited to three lines, maximum.

User signatures may contain a single line consisting of a promotional descriptive and may also contain a website url address.  Url addresses of a non-personal, non-soapmaking nature that might commonly be considered "spam" are not allowed.

When you are done entering your personal image/avatar and/or signature lines, be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button.
