I made my first batch of cream soap yesterday from a 'basic' recipe I found on one of the Yahoo groups. I want to try to design my own recipe, but I don't really know what percentages of hard oils to soft oils to stearic acid, ect. to use to get a mild soap that isn't drying.
Just spending the morning researching and I discovered this forum.

Anyone care to share their own recent experience with making cream soaps? Perhaps share a favorite recipe formula or method?
Our SBM Advanced Soapmaking Calculator has built-in (but overrideable) guidelines for making cream or liquid soaps, but any input at all would be appreciated, for sure!
