Selling Your Soap

After about 6 months of soap making, I am going to start selling my soap. We have 4 shops that want to carry our product. Two of them say I need to totally wrap the bars, as people do not want to buy soap that others have touched. The other two shops say to only put a label around the bar so customers can still smell the scent. I am looking for the least expensive, but still sell soap. Any ideas???
Thanks

Honestly, I purchased a large quantity of them years ago and don't recall from who.

I searched via Google for 'shrink bands' an had some 'fun' finding the right length and width to fit over our bars.

They are available from several online sources of packaging products.

A heat gun from Home Depot is what we use to shrink them, but a decent hair dryer will also work.

Steve,
I like your wrap method. Where do I purchase shrink-sleeves?
Thanks, Eddie

Hi ejldixie

Congatulations on the store connections!

We wrap our Summer Bee Meadow soaps in shrink-sleeves over paper bands.

They can be handled, but there's an opening at each end to sniff.
